Projects

In this project we assisted a major local utility who is in the process of deploying sensors for their intelligent substation initiative. Data will be used to provide indication of the health of their transformers, the most critical asset in their transmission and distribution system. Our team assisted with a pilot project as proof of concept and subsequently has supported the project initiative throughout the installation process.

Project 1

Major Deployment of 9-Gas Dissolved Gas Analyzers with Local Utility

In northern New Jersey, a colocation data center catering to financial businesses undertook a vital upgrade of their protection system. They enlisted Bluefin ESI in collaboration with GE Grid Automation to replace their outdated GE SR protection relays with the advanced GE 8-Series retrofit relays. The complex project required precise planning to avoid any disruption. Thanks to our and GE Grid Automation’s meticulous approach, the upgrade was executed flawlessly, with no interruption to the data center’s critical day-to-day operations. This seamless transition not only enhanced the facility’s reliability but also ensured that financial transactions continued without a hitch, maintaining the trust and satisfaction of their high-stakes clients.
